Interim Alert Bulletin: Injury from Defective Trailer Door
While attempting to open a trailer door with a stiff door handle, a Meet & Greet Inspector sustained a broken right finger and a severe laceration which required 5 stitches.
He was treated in hospital and was prescribed strong medication and a course of anti-biotics. He was unable to return to work for 9 days which resulted in a Lost Time Injury.
