AB 015 2022 Serious Near Miss - Falling Load
A trailer was being loaded by over head crane by a loader using a remote control from the ground.
The driver was standing beside the trailer undoing the curtains when the crane operator brought over the next steel bundle. The bundle was suspended over the trailer and as it was lowered down the front sling strap slipped off the bullnose of the crane. The steel bundle fell onto the trailer bed. Luckily, the driver escaped without injury.
