Many thanks firstly to all hauliers and drivers who have helped us enforce the message and the progress made with the applying of trailer park brakes. However, we are still hearing reports of similar incidents within the industry which has highlighted that roll away events are still occuring and that there is a small minority of drivers to whom the message is not getting through
Everyone must continue to enforce the message of applying the tractor unit hand bakes and trailer park brakes.

Sleeping on Tata Sites
Please remember it is strictly forbidden for drivers to park up overnight to sleep. This is to ensure the drivers safety as potentially harmful gases and chemicals are stored on site.
Parking up with Doors Open
Steel is an expensive and moisture sensitive product. Please remember trailers loaded with any product must remain closed at all times.

Site Facilities....Use the Loo !!!!
We have received a number of reports of drivers urinating outside and around various Tata sites. Tata have provided driver facilities at all sites which are clearly signed. Please ensure drivers use the facilities.
If any driver is unsure of where the facilities are then please ask the onsite personnel !!
Trailer Preparation
We are still finding incorrectly prepared trailers arriving on or being left on site prior to loading. Please ensure all trailers are left clean, and in the correct manner as per the individual site requirements.
